China High Technology Industry Statistics, data originating from National Bureau of Statistics, Ministry of Science and Technology, and National Development and Reform Commission in China, takes in the development of high technology industry. It provides the statistics of high technology industry (i.e. the manufacturing industry with relatively high R&D input in the national economy) among 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in eastern, central, western and northeastern China.
Indicators cover the production and operation of this industry, R&D activities and the related of high-tech enterprises of large and medium size, fixed assets and investment in fixed assets of the high-tech industry, import and export of high-tech products, and industry productivity. This database may help relevant users to study the development and adjustment of the high-tech industry and get to understand the connection between China's modernization and high-tech industry advancement. This database has data starting from 1995 with yearly update.
