China Science and Technology Statistics, sourced from National Bureau of Statistics and the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, is a specialized database to which users could refer to study China's science and technology. Its statistics cover items about the science and technology in 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, together with the major science and technology items in other countries and regions worldwide.
Indicators of this database include general situation, basic social and economic situation, industrial enterprises above designated size, enterprises of large and medium size, research and development institutions, scientific activities of universities and colleges, high technology industry, national plan on science and technology, achievement and service of science and technology, and monitoring of science and technology advancement. Data start from 1953 with yearly update.
