China Transportation Statistics reflects the development of Chinese transportation industry, which data comes from the National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Transport of the People’s Republic of China, Civil Aviation Administration of China, State Post Bureau of the People’s Republic of China, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and National Bureau of Statistics of China.
It provides the transportation statistics among 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government, 36 large and medium cities and more than 50 ports.
The main content includes the annual and monthly data on railway, highway, water transportation, civil aviation, oil (gas) pipeline, postal and telecommunication services, ports and other means of transportation.
It helps users to study the experience and law of coordinated development between economic construction and transportation in order to promote the healthy development of Chinese transportation industry.
The data has been updated monthly (annually) since 1985.
